It used to be that petfooddirect had the best online prices but that is no longer true. For the past six months I can usually find my pet food for less on other websites. However, the site and product arrangement is the best of all of the sites and the service has always been excellent. PetfoodDirect also has the widest variety of pet foods. I also feed Blue Buffalo Wilderness Healthy Weight Chicken Recipe Dry for dogs and petfooddirect does not sell it. The only place that I can find it is petango.com but shipment is usually slow from there. I would purchase all of my food from petfooddirect if the prices plus shipping were more competitive and if they carried The BB Wilderness variety that I need.

I WAS SENT EXPIRED FOOD. THE REPLACEMENT FOOD WAS SENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS WHICH CAUSED ME TO PAY 28.01 IN ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES IN ORDER TO RECEIVE IT. EVENTUALLY I WAS ISSUED A CREDIT FOR THAT. FOLLOWING THAT ERROR, I WAS SENT ONLY HALF OF AN ORDER BUT IT WAS SENT AS COMPLETE!!! I AM AWAITING THE ARRIVAL OF THE ERROR IN THAT ORDER. IN THE LAST MONTH THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS ERRORS IN THE ORDERS. IN THE PAST I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THE STRESS CAUSED WITH THESE ERRORS AND CONSTANT MONITORING OF WHAT THE EMPLOYEES ARE DOING WITH MY ORDERS. THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE SURVEY. MARY WHITE

One of the items in my shipment was damaged. I was expecting to have to go into battle mode when I phoned customer service...but...I was stunned when I was told there would be no problem to replace the item and that I didn't have to return the damaged one. The person with whom I spoke was so cordial and courteous which, unfortunately, is too rare these days. A replacement was sent immediately.

Tried to purchase prescription food for a sick cat on March 12, merchant assured shipping within 48 hours. Order not shipped by March 16 although they billed my credit card on March 13. Tried to get cancellation and they said OK but would not send confirmation. I called three days in a row, talked to Arlene, Brandon and Maraina. They all assured it was cancelled but would not send a confirmation. Now it is March 22, they say they are shipping the order, but also just sent confirmation that they are crediting my card for full amount. This is for a cat with renal failure, I needed that food ASAP as promised, and do not need these headaches in my time of grief and stress.

Ordered two products. The above rating is on the Dog Bed that has not been received yet. The Dog Kennel/crate was received when expected and in good condition. I made a phone call about the Dog Bed and was told it was coming from the manufacture. Nothing has been communicated about the bed, so I have no idea when it will be received or if I have to keep bugging you about it. Question # 7 should include Maybe. Didn't know how to answer. Didn't want to say Yes because maybe I won't and didn't want to say No because maybe I will so I answered no.

I placed the order on Tuesday. Website said that order would arrive within 2-3 days. I was leaving on a trip and needed the food for my pets while I was away. On Friday I had to buy cat food so that I would have food over the weekend since my order did not arrive until the following week. I did not receive any notice when the order was in transit or when it arrived. It was sitting in front of my garage when I arrived home the following Wednesday evening. The weather had been below freezing for days!
