The smallest skid will hold up to an 11" long engine base the longest up to a 24" base. One size inbetween is sized for up to an 18" engine base/ Add about 14" total for handles. The cross members are 11" giving you a working width of 8" allowing for room for bolts for mounting to the cross member or wider if you bolt into the runner directly.
