Broken... AGAIN! Maytag M6Y18F7A Air Conditioner.
My unit blows very cool and is quite quiet for a large window unit.
If only it would stop locking up I would love it!
Broke within two months of use (fan locked,sparks ect..). Was dropped off at the Maytag repair facility in NJ and repaired (Unit took four months to repair!!!!).

Cooled fine when it worked
This unit cooled just fine, when it worked. I used it just a few times each summer in a summer cabin. The fan quit working after one 3 seasons. couldn't find any one to fix it. Great AC
Used this AC for 3 years to cool the ground floor of my house, it works beautifully, quickly reducing the temperature and its extremely quiet.
